How to Celebrate Your Corporate Anniversary or Business Birthday

So, it’s my birthday soon, and whilst I’m looking forward to having the day off and basking in my own gloriousness (a Zen Communications rule), the imminent-ness of this special occasion also got me thinking about how businesses and brands can use the power of PR to mark their own birthdays and anniversaries.

Whether you’re celebrating a certain number of years in business, working with a particular client for – say – a decade, or recognising a long-serving employee, anniversaries are a great excuse to engage with the media on a local, national or even international level, and remind your core audience about just how fab you really are!

From a commemorative press release or email blast, to a gala party or business showcase, there are a number of ways you can help honour your company’s big day.

Why not consider putting your CEO in the spotlight with an exclusive interview; tie your anniversary into a new product rollout; leave a legacy by planting some trees or donating a sculpture; or simply offer new and existing customers a special ‘birthday’ deal?

As you can see, at Zen, we don’t just report your news, we help you create it. By aligning anniversary stories to your specific business objectives and the psychological drivers for your clients, we can ensure that our PR tactics achieve real results for you.
