The Power of PR: Marking Milestones

Posted by Zen | 01st June 2016

Today marks a very important day. Today saw Connor Williams embark on his first day at school!

For those that don’t know, Connor (aged 4) is the eldest son of our lovely Client Services Director, Rhi, who has taken a well-deserved day off and has been sharing updates with the team throughout the morning.

Such a momentous occasion for little Connor got us chatting about the benefits of marking milestones, and how businesses and brands can use the power of PR to shout about their own achievements.

Whether you’re celebrating a certain number of years in business, working with a particular client for – say – a decade, or recognising a long-serving employee, milestones are a great excuse to engage with the media on a local, national or even international level, and remind your core audience about how brilliant you really are!

From a commemorative press release or email blast, to a gala party or business showcase, there are a number of ways you can help honour your company’s achievement.

…And what better way to mark Connor’s big day, than to share our own school photographs with the world! Brownie points for those who can identify which Zen team member is which!
