Zen Celebrates Shortlisting Success

We’re delighted to be shortlisted as one of the top places to work in the region as part of an annual Excellence in Business award scheme.

Zen Communications has been selected as one of the finalists in the Best Place to Work category in the Shropshire Star awards, which focuses on companies who go above and beyond for their staff.

Felicity Wingrove, our lovely Managing Director, explained: “It’s an honour to be shortlisted in such a popular category and we’re delighted to have been recognised for something which is so important to us.

“Career development and a supportive environment are an integral part of the Zen ethos, with all employees encouraged to challenge themselves and explore opportunities for professional and personal development. We’re proud to offer our staff a whole host of additional benefits too, including a weekly personal training session, a complementary day of leave for birthdays, and company-funded trips and meals out.”

A total of eight awards are up for grabs this year, with the black-tie awards ceremony taking place at RAF Cosford on April 23. “We’re incredibly proud to call Shropshire our home and the whole team are really looking forward to the awards evening in April,” continued Felicity. “To win would certainly be the icing on the cake but we’re thrilled just to have been shortlisted.”
