We are absolutely thrilled to announce that having been shortlisted as one of the ‘Best Places to Work’ in our region, we were crowned overall WINNERS at the Shropshire Star’s Excellence in Business Awards ceremony last night!

The glamorous black-tie event, which was held at RAF Cosford, saw hundreds of businesspeople come together to celebrate the fantastic achievements of a diverse range of companies and organisations across Shropshire.

Our proud MD, Felicity Wingrove, said: “It’s a real honour to be recognised for something which is so important to us, and we were incredibly grateful for the hundreds of messages wishing us luck and sharing congratulations.

“This award is made all the more special because its focus is on our team and it provides recognition for our long-held belief that only by investing in our people will we be truly able to deliver an unparalleled service to our clients."

Sponsored by Star Employment Services, the category judges “loved the autonomy given to all staff to choose the best training courses for them, rewarding success in cash and more aspirational benefits.”

A huge congratulations to all those shortlisted in the awards and, of course, to each of the category winners!

The odd typo happens to us all and can usually be recognised as just that, but the obvious use of an incorrect word or spelling is a different kettle of fish entirely, so it’s important to get it right in your communications.
